Curriculum Vitae
Engela de Villiers (1996) studied BA Humanities at Stellenbosch University with majors in General Linguistics and French (2015-2017). She continued her studies in General Linguistics at Stellenbosch University and completed her BAHons in 2018 and her MA in 2019, focusing on the syntax of imperatives in Afrikaans. Engela is starting her PhD research in 2020 and will be doing a joint-PhD between KU Leuven and Stellenbosch University. The title of her PhD will be The grammar of imperatives and the imperatives of grammar.
